Pharmacy Contraception Service (Telephone Appointment)

NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service is a free NHS service that allows the initiation or continuation of contraceptive treatment for women without the need for an appointment with your GP.
We can provide either the combined oral contraceptive pill (16 yrs old - 49yrs old) or the progestogen only pill (16yrs old - 54 yrs old). This can then be collected from your nearest Jardines Pharmacy.
This is a telephone appointment.

Pharmacy First Service (Video Call)

This booking is for a video call consultation with a pharmacist for one of the six following conditions; Sore Throat, Sinusitis, Impetigo, Infected Insect Bites, UTI (in women) and Shingles. Age limits apply.
As part of the consultation the pharmacist will take a full history and perform observations that are used to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.
NHS Prescription charge rules apply where a medicine is supplied.

This appointment is for a free blood pressure check in branch.
If your local Jardine's is not shown as available to book please just pop into branch and ask a colleague for this free service.

Pharmacy Contraception Service

NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service is a free NHS service that allows the initiation or continuation of contraceptive treatment for women without the need for an appointment with your GP.
We can provide either the combined oral contraceptive pill (16 yrs old - 49yrs old) or the progestogen only pill (16yrs old - 54 yrs old). Your contraceptive prescription will be processed immediately following the appointment.
You may need to provide your height, weight and blood pressure. If you do not have these details it can be checked in the pharmacy.

This is an appointment for an ear and hearing check with microsuction. Microsuction is the most effective and safest means of clearing ear wax from your ear.

Weightloss Service

This service is designed for patients wishing to lose weight. As part of the service you may be offered a form of medication weight loss including Mounjaro, Wegovy and Orlistat.
To be eligible you must have a BMI over 30 or over 27 with a weight related co-morbidity including, diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnoea, hypercholesterolemia and osteoarthritis. Further eligibility checks will be made at the appointment.
